Toronto-Vancouver-US-Canada team building for healthcare

Special Team Building Challenges

For healthcare facilities committed to high standards of patient care, staffing continues to be a major challenge in today’s climate of funding uncertainties.  We offer team building solutions specifically designed to produce maximum results in minimal time, even in the most challenging healthcare environments.

While recent health crises may have receded (for now), new challenges will likely continue to test battle-weary staff.  No matter how committed managers, leaders and unions are, they cannot do it all.  Without exception, our experience is that healthcare professionals are dedicated to looking after patients, to the detriment of their own needs.  Special versions of our Survivor team building workshops help staff find creative ways to take care of themselves in times of adversity.

Organizational structures are not unlike human structures when experiencing trauma.  Healthcare professionals are trained to respond with all possible speed to assist a patient in crisis. They know that the longer human systems are exposed danger, the greater the odds for serious damage.

So, too, with organizational change.  (Not really surprising when you think of organizations as clusters of humans.)  During change, all systems and relationships are exposed to risk: patients, staff, financial, community, environment. The longer the recovery, the more danger that these systems will sustain at least short-term, and possibly even permanent, damage.

Our P*U*S*H team building program for leaders and employee team building programs provide vigorous and efficient strategies for success.

Survivor for team building

Survivor team building sessions for staff offer unlimited flexibility, in terms of topics and focus.  Some choices include:  Work-life Balance; Stress Management; Respect in the Workplace; Workplace Satisfaction; Team Building; and Career Planning.  Coach versions for team leaders in all topic areas are also available.

Review a Feedback Summary from a recent one-hour team building “Lunch & Learn” session.

for Healthcare Human Resources Professionals:

We have a special team building version of Survivor for HR departments.  Use it as a workshop or as part of an HR team building retreat or other departmental event.  Highly effective for helping HR practitioners understand that organizational team building begins with taking care of themselves.

We also offer options for a themes loosely based on the TV reality shows that keep the sessions upbeat, while producing significant outcomes.

We offer choices in formats that are guaranteed to fit within your team building budget and time constraints.

In order for you to assess whether our team building programs meet your needs, we offer a complimentary one-hour demonstration session for a group of 6 to 8 participants.  There would be no obligation, and no charge for the facilitation or the participant materials.
