Looking for Nechville CD Contributions

For many years, Nechville Musical Products has discussed putting together a compilation of music from Nechville players around the world.   That project is now becoming  one step closer to reality.

The goal is to present a cross section of music that reflects not only  the tonal quality of Nechville’s entire line of banjos, but also the diversity of music that is being played on them.

“Many players we have spoken with at festivals and other events over the years have expressed an interest in being involved,” says Tom Nechville.  “Now we are ready to get this project rolling.”

The end result will be a CD that will be available for sale at the Nechville booth at various trade shows and festivals for a nominal price. 

I will be coordinating the process. We know many amazing players who play our instruments.  Some of them are world famous, while many others are simply world class. I am thrilled to work with Nechville to players to showcase their talents. An added benefit is the chance for people to hear the great sound that can be produced with a Nechville banjo.

Nechville is asking for players to contribute original songs for this project.  To keep the cost low, we are asking for free contributions for those players who wish to present their music to a worldwide audience. We hope this project to be a vehicle to help the public  discover some of the incredible musicians playing Nechville  banjos that they might not otherwise encounter.
